Mason Nelson - Loose Forward
In high school, Mason played a variety of Warman High School sports; including the first Springboks team, football, and wrestling. Mason joined the Krems senior men's rugby team in 2014, and has been a major contribution ever since. A natural on the fringes of the scrum, Mason is quickly developing into a ferocious player. Mason's wrestling background, which is being further developed as he wrestles at the CIS level of U of S, Mason has quickly translated his skill set to the pitch where he is becoming known for his aggression, consistent tackling, and high work rate. This has resulted in Mason routinely working his way into the starting 15 for the Krems, and showing the type of promise that will see him become a mainstay there for years to come.
