2016 Springboks Coaching Staff
Tyler Eaglesham - Coach/Founder - Sham has been playing rugby and football all around the country since he was old enough to play contact sports. He attended St. Paul's High School (Winnipeg, MB) where he captained the AAA football team, and played for The First XV rugby squad. Sham put his rugby career on hold after high school, however, as he played for the Mount Allison Mounties Football team in Sackville, New Brunswick. Since moving to Saskatoon in 2007, he has played rugby for the Krems RFC, and the NSRU Wolverines representative team. His rugby highlights include winning High School Provincials in Manitoba (2002), winning the NSRU Championships in 2009, and playing for the Castaway Wanderers First XV in Victoria, BC in 2013. Sham has been teaching in the City of Warman since his teacher candidacy in 2011, and is excited to have a full-time contract at Warman High School through 2015. Sheldon Carter - Coach/Founder - Sheldon started his rugby career in 2004 in the Saskatoon Kinsmen Junior Rugby league playing for the Westside Rage. After finishing his junior career, Sheldon joined the Saskatoon Krems of the North Sask Rugby League and continues to play with them to this day. Sheldon was a member of the Krems RFC when they won the North Sask Championship in 2009. He has also received the Pendleton award as a member of the Krems RFC for commitment and service to his club. Along with coach Eaglesham, Sheldon helped to found the Springboks Junior Boys team in Warman in 2013. He has coached with the team since, helping coach the boys to a silver medal finish in the Rowland's Cup in 2014. Sheldon can be contacted at [email protected] Hayley Giesbrecht - Team Trainer/Manager - Hayley was born and raised in Warman Saskatchewan, playing all sports but primarily hockey and soccer. She has been an EA for the past 5 years, first at WES but transferring to WHS in 2013. Hayley began training in all areas of head injury and concussion after suffering a major Acquired Brain Injury in 2006 at a local hockey rink. In 2015 she was asked to be the game day trainer for the Warman Wolverines Football team. Her qualifications are listed under the Parents > Safety tab.
